Grand Duchy of 46566

46566 is a colony of the Midgari, a people who travel from their homeworld to found colonies when population limits are reached. Colonies are named for their founding year (Midgari calendar), so this one is "46566". The colony ships took 566 years to arrive and were dismantled into towns. It is a united constitutional monarchy ruled by the Cranston family (a branch of the Emperor of Midgar's family) as Grand Duke; the monarch controls foreign policy and limited non-Imperial-Guard units. It has lost contact with the Midgari Empire and is now opening to trade and launching satellites.
