Neo Metropol is a single colossal hive-city of nearly two billion Metropolitans in the far north of Belemira, a former colony of Gresk. Government: Autocratic Stratocracy — absolute power with the hereditary Archgoverness (only she may reproduce biologically; others are vat-born "children of The City" from the Womb of the City) and her district Generals. Citizens (Gänger; castes include Arbeiter labourers and Denker thinkers) are pale with black veins/eyes; the City is worshipped ("The Archgoverness knows best"). Calendar: year 500. Chronic shortage of raw materials and fuel drove it to open to the world in July 2025 (dated 06 July 500). Elite Praetorian Guard. Space programme: City's Grasp of the Stars (CGS), head Gullivon.
