Republic of Wirye

Also: Wirye

Overview

From the lore database, compiled by Indexer from forum posts.

The Republic of Wirye was founded 90–99 years ago (as of 500–501 AI) by just over 20,000 colonists from Earth aboard the Arirang 5, which drifted for centuries in a spacetime anomaly. Wiryeans live ~400 years, so the pioneer generation is still alive. Capital Shin-ul; other cities Cheonil City, Yulhyun City, Jong-gak District. Highly automated (robots for 40 years), railgun-armed military, carrier fleets (7th Fleet; new carrier RWS Juseong). Calendar: AI 500 = AD 2240.
